Day Eight and Nine we spent in the village of Chukhung, attempted to trek to Chukhung Ri and prepared for our first pass crossing – the Kongma La Pass.

Day seven on the Three Passes Trek we made it to Dingboche and trekked to the Nangkartshang Peak (5,068 m). Although we only planned to stay one night, I got AMS headaches so we added a rest day stop to our schedule.
