Minimalist wedding dresses under $1,000 by BHLDN
A wedding dress is such an important part of the wedding planning process and finding the one is no doubt the best feeling ever. When I started looking for mine I had a general idea of the style but had absolutely no idea how much they cost, where you try them on, how many fittings there are and all the other important information about the wedding dress shopping. This is probably why my dress shopping turned out into a little bit of a wedding dress disaster. One thing I haven’t considered at all (simply because I didn’t know was possible) is ordering my wedding dress online. Only after my wedding I’ve done the research and to be honest although I loved the wedding dress I got married in, I would totally try any of the ones listed below (the price is so much better too!).
BHLDN Minimalist Wedding Dresses
BHLDN is Anthropologie’s wedding dresses and accessories section. I am personally in love with this store, but when I discovered it I already had my dress. They have a measurement guide online which can help you find the right size, and they offer a pretty good choice of dresses from boho wedding dresses to wedding gowns of all price ranges. Shipping Info
Shipping at BHLDN is not free, it’s an additional $15 to the order price. They also offer to pay for your dress in a number of installments instead of one lump sum depending on which option you prefer.
Returns Info
Items will have to be returned within 30 days of delivery, must be unworn, and cannot be brought back to the store, so your option is shipping it back. You can find more info on their return policy on the BHLDN site.
Jenny by Jenny Yoo Haven Gown ($995)
The Haven gown is simple and elegant, it is made from polyester and spandex and has an open back with beautiful lace detail. On their website you can check out a customer review, the dress is simply gorgeous, and won’t break the bank. It also seems to be fitted as expected based on the size guide according to customer reviews on the BHLDN site.
Jenny by Jenny Yoo Octavia Gown ($975)
There are lots of customer photos and reviews on this Octavia Gown and all are very happy with the purchase although many indicate that it fits slightly larger than expected. Customer photos are gorgeous and the dress is made out of polyester.
Theia Blake Gown ($900)
The Blake Gown is made of polyester and fits for the most part as expected, this gown is great for those who love the simple and dreamy off-shoulder look.
Watters Brides Hyde Gown ($850)
The Hyde gown is made of polyester and according to customer reviews fits as expected. There are no photos of anyone trying it on, but all of the reviews are positive.
Badgley Mischka Sawyer Gown ($800)
The Sawyer gown also has a lot of customer photos in the review section and gets a lot of good reviews and the brides look stunning in it. This dress is made of polyester and seems to fit as expected. They also have unique veil options to accentuate its minimalist design.
